LOST 2-19-09

So sorry for the delay on this, but I just didn't have time to get in front of the DVR.

Ok guys, LOST this week. I literally just finished watching it and I can't even get the words out. I think my favourite line was "We're not going to Guam are we?"

We got more answers this week, especially regarding John Locke's death. All the Lostees managed to board a plane and crash land on the island but so far we don't know if they all made it on the island ok.

We also met two new characters this episode. Ray - Jack's Grandfather, and a as of yet unnamed man, who Jack interacted with at the airport, and Hurley also interacted with on the plane. He only had one line this episode, but I've got a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of him. I feel like we'll also see more of Jack's grandfather as well, it seemed unnessecary to just stick him in for the purpose of giving Jack shoes, so he's got to have a role somewhere.

Let's move onto Desmond. Desmond did NOT board the plane (as he was not an original passenger on board the plane) but I've got a sneaky suspicion that his being on a boat will lead him (and subsequently Penny and their child) to the island. Hawking specifically said that "the island is not done with you" to Desmond, so we know something will happen to him.

Ben. Okay, what the hell happened to Ben? Someone wanted Ben dead, but who? Part of me thinks, it could have been Sayid, because Saiyd was in handcuffs. But why would Ben call the cops? And Sayid already had plenty of chances before, why now? Why haven't any of the characters (read: Jack) ask him about his injuries? Perhaps Whidmore is behind it?

Aaron. What happened to Aaron? What did Kate do with Aaron? Did she give him to somebody she trusts? Did she go to back to Claire's grandmother and give Aaron to her and explain that it wasn't her kid? Will we even find out anytime soon what happened to him, or will this question go unanswered for weeks or months?

Hurley. How did Hurley end up on the same flight? Who told him? Did Ben convince him to go under some sort of circumstances? Is this why Ben got hurt? Did Ben get hurt getting to Hurley? Hurley seemed surprised to know that Ben was coming, but didn't seem TOO surprised to just see Ben.

Sayid. What did Sayid do to get arrested? Does he have some past connection with Guam to put him on a plane TOO Guam?

Jin. Hands down, the craziest moment in the show. Jin, driving a SHINY VW bus, dressed in a Dharma uniform...Are the characters from the present time travelling now too? Was Jin already on the island? Is Jin related in anyway to the Asian guy from the Dharma initative films? Or has Jin and company travelled back in time and have just dressed to blend in? Perhaps everyone is in the same time together, but Sawyer's group may have changed outfits? It looked like Jin recognized Jack though, so I don't know what's up with that

Time Travel - Was time travel supposed to end when the Lostees got back? Are the present characters travelling too? Will Charlette stay dead? What's going to happen to the other bloody nosers?

Please comment and let me know what you thought of this week's episode and clue me in on anything I may have left out.

2009 Bonnaroo Lineup

I had this chilling over in the side for a little while now, but it sits very awkwardly over there so I'm just gonna post it below, and link to it from the homepage

Bye Bye Bye Analog TV

----------

So what does that mean for the viewers of those 421 stations? Well it probably looks a bit something like THIS. Rather unfortunate for them, but I hardly take pity. Many stations just didn't have enough forewarning to reverse the in-motion plan to shut down on the 17th, other companies were eagerly anticipating the 17th to shut down their analog broadcasters, enabling them to save money.

That's all I've got to say
